The Casey Demons return to Casey Fields on Sunday for the opening match of a double-header, taking on Essendon's VFLW side from 11:05am.

Casey will welcome back Anna Vrsecky, who returns after missing time with a concussion suffered in Round 1. The exciting forward made an immediate impact earlier this season with a three-goal performance and will provide a valuable boost to the Dees' attacking stocks.

The Dees will also unveil another debutant, with Bonnie Williams set to pull on the red and blue for the first time. Williams becomes the latest player to earn an opportunity at VFLW level and will be eager to make her mark in front of the home crowd.

After a challenging outing against the ladder leaders last week, Casey will be determined to respond with a stronger four-quarter performance. While there were positives to take from the contest, the Dees will be looking to improve their ball movement and create more opportunities going forward.

Sunday's clash shapes as an important one, with Essendon sitting in a similar position on the ladder. With both sides searching for valuable points as the season progresses, Casey will see the matchup as an opportunity to return to the winners' list and build momentum heading into the second half of the campaign.

The first bounce is at 11:05am at Casey Fields, before the VFL side takes on Essendon later in the afternoon as part of a big day of football in Casey.
