THE Jim Stynes Foundation is proud to present the 2026 Play It Forward Luncheon, powered by Bunnings, an afternoon dedicated to celebrating the extraordinary impact AFL community programs have beyond the game.

The Melbourne Football Club, partner of the Jim Stynes Foundation, is proud to support the luncheon. 

Join the Foundation on Friday 28 August 2026 from 12.30pm at Glasshouse as they recognise the people, clubs and partners creating meaningful change in communities across Australia.

The Play It Forward Luncheon shines a spotlight on the incredible work happening off the field, bringing together the AFL industry, corporate partners and supporters to celebrate the programs that are transforming lives through connection, inclusion and opportunity.

A highlight of the afternoon will be the presentation of the Jim Stynes Community Award, with $10,000 awarded to the AFL club whose community program has demonstrated the greatest impact over the past year.

Hosted by Sarah Ashmore, guests will also hear inspiring stories from past recipients of the Jim Stynes Leadership Award, who will share how purpose, leadership and giving back have shaped their lives both during and beyond football.

Alongside the inspiring conversations, guests can enjoy a memorable afternoon featuring live music, cocktails, delicious food and, in true Jim Stynes spirit, even a little Irish jigging.
