Caleb Windsor will miss the Essendon game with the club’s GM of AFL Football Performance Alan Richardson providing an update on the Demon.
“Caleb has been managing a big toe ligament sprain he sustained in our Round 9 game against West Coast,” Richardson said.
“Given we have a five-day break, Caleb will be managed for this week’s game against Essendon.
“He is a young player, and we want to ensure we are setting him up well for the remainder of the season.”
Latrelle Pickett and Tom McDonald have both been omitted.
Changkuoth Jiath, Matthew Jefferson and Jack Henderson have been named on the emergency list.
Saturday’s game will be a particularly special one for the two clubs, with the match set to celebrate the incredible impact of Neale Daniher on the football world.
Both teams will pull on commemorative jumpers for the occasion, which will then be auctioned off with all proceeds to go to FightMND. You can find the auction page here.
