MELBOURNE has named Jayden Hunt and Braydon Preuss in this weekend’s side to take on North Melbourne in the final game of 2019.

The Demon duo return for the trip to Blundstone Arena in place of Kade Chandler (injured) and Kyle Dunkley (omitted).

As announced earlier in the week, Chandler suffered a fractured finger during the last quarter of his debut game on Friday night and wasn’t available for selection in Round 23.

Max Gawn, who sat on the bench in the latter stages of that clash with Sydney, has pulled up well from hamstring tightness and will be fit to take on Todd Goldstein in another key ruck battle.

The Demons’ big man will have the support of Preuss, as the 24-year-old will also provide an option up forward for his side.

After going small against the Swans last week and managing just five goals, the Dees decided to make a change, giving Preuss an opportunity to play against his former side.

Hunt will also return on the back of a run in the VFL last Sunday where he gathered 15 disposals and laid six tackles.

This Saturday’s game will spell the end of Jordan Lewis’ career, as the former Hawk runs out on the AFL field for a 319th and final time.

Lewis has been a great addition to the club since joining at the end of 2016 and will be looking to be close his career on a high against the Roos.
