ON THE BACK of Kysaiah Pickett's thrilling six-goal haul in the Northern Territory on Sunday, he has found himself nominated for the rebel Goal of the Year.

While each of Pickett's majors showcased a different skillset, it was his left foot snap from the boundary, following some fancy footwork, in the second term which has made him eligible for this week's award.

The 21-year-old has some steep competition in Round 18, needing to poll more votes than Jeremy Cameron and Sam Draper to go in the running for the top prize come the end of the season.
