Jake Melksham’s 2019 season was interrupted by a foot injury, as the star forward managed just 12 games for the year.
The former Bomber, who played 114 matches in the red and black, has brought class to Melbourne since making his debut in 2017.
He’s an elite kick of the footy on both sides of his body and in 2018 became one of the most dynamic forwards in the competition.
In Round 6 last season, Melksham was thrown into the midfield and showed an ability to win the ball and deliver it inside 50.
He has become one of the club’s most valuable players and will be an integral part of the side again in 2020.
