The Casey Demons have made six changes to their side ahead of their away clash against Williamstown.
The Dees travel to DSV Stadium to take on the Seagulls, with several key inclusions set to bolster the line-up. Among the most notable is the return of Aidan Johnson, who is back after overcoming injury and adds valuable strength to the forward line.
Co-captain Riley Bonner also returns to the side after a planned spell. He'll bring leadership and composure back into the team’s defensive structure.
Bailey Laurie rejoins the squad following a stint at AFL level, adding further class and experience across the midfield and forward half.
Rounding out the inclusions are Clancy Pope, Nate Pipicelli and Wardell Lual, all of whom add fresh energy and depth as Casey looks to build momentum heading into the second half of the season.
The match shapes as an important test for both sides, with Casey and Williamstown each coming off strong Round 12 victories. The Demons will be eager to carry their form on the road, while the Seagulls continue to cement themselves as one of the competition’s most consistent stand-alone clubs.
Williamstown currently sits inside the top 10 on the Smithy’s VFL ladder, underlining the challenge ahead for Casey in what looms as a competitive and evenly poised contest.
In addition to the standard broadcast on the AFL website and app, the ABC will again televise a Casey game, with this match also available to watch live on their channel and ABC iview.
