The Casey Demons have made four changes to their side ahead of Sunday's clash with Essendon at Casey Fields, with several players exiting the side and earning an elevation to Melbourne's AFL lineup.
Among the inclusions is Changkuoth Jiath, who returns after a brief stint on the sidelines through injury. He is joined by Latrelle Pickett and Tom McDonald, while VFL-listed forward Luke Cheffers has earned a recall after producing strong form at local level.
The additions provide a welcome boost for the Demons as they prepare to take on an Essendon outfit full of confidence following a strong victory last round. The blend of AFL-listed experience and emerging VFL talent will be crucial as Casey looks to respond after falling just short in a hard-fought contest last week.
The action gets underway at 2:05pm at Casey Fields and forms part of a big day of football for the club, with the Casey Demons VFLW side taking on Essendon earlier in the day in the opening match of the double-header.
The occasion also coincides with Casey's Heritage Round celebrations. To honour the club's rich history and commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 1996 premiership won when the club was known as the Springvale Scorpions, the Demons will wear a special heritage jumper, paying tribute to one of the most significant moments in the club's proud history.
