NARRM Football Club and the Jim Stynes Foundation came together to celebrate Sir Doug Nicholls Round on Saturday.

The Jim Stynes Foundation, in partnership with the Narrm Football Club, is committed to improving health outcomes and increasing access to sporting opportunities for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The Foundation also works to promote reconciliation and strengthen cultural education.

Worawa Aboriginal College
Fifteen students performed four traditional dances in front of more than 400 guests in the President’s Club. The students also took part in the Guard of Honour.

This year's designer of Narrm's Indigenous guernsey is Vanetta Hudson, alumni of Worawa Aboriginal College. The student's were thrilled to see her.

Minum Barreng: Indigenous Eye Health Unit
Associate Professor Mitchell Anjou participated in a Q&A with Clint Stanaway in the President’s Club, before joining Megan Waters for an on-ground interview at half-time.

Mitchell spoke passionately about the role the Narrm Football Club and Jim Stynes Foundation have played in helping eliminate the eye disease Trachoma.

He was also joined by the popular mascot Milpa.
