TEN matchups across ten seasons.
The Melbourne and Brisbane rivalry has stood the test of time and this weekend it will be re-ignited.
The Dees are set to travel up to Brighton Homes Arena to face the Lions for the 11th time across the history of the AFLW.
The two teams started their AFLW journeys alongside one another in 2017, meeting in Round 1 for the first match of the inaugural season.
From there onwards, each season has seen the two battle it out with a competitive and ruthless edge that creates the ultimate spectacle for fans, the average margin across the games just 13 points.
Across the 10 seasons and 10 matchups, there have been some clear standout moments for Melbourne fans.
Season six saw the Dees host the Lions in a Preliminary Final at the MCG, with Melbourne securing a maiden grand final berth.
And no game would be more iconic than the season seven grand final where the Dees won their maiden AFLW premiership, defeating Brisbane by four points.
Now 10 seasons on from that first game in 2017, Melbourne and Brisbane will add another chapter to the rivalry and while we can't guarantee who will get the four points come Saturday night, we know it'll be another tight tussle that's worth tuning in to.
