IT WAS Melbourne forward Kysaiah Pickett's day in Round 11 at the MCG and the AFLCA coaches votes reflected just that.

The maximum 10 votes were all sent Pickett's way, as the Demon dynamo produced a statistically rare performance playing in the Indigenous guernsey his father designed.

AFL Media's Cal Twomey noted the performance put Pickett in rare air, with his output placing the midfielder and forward alongside names such as Akermanis, Dangerfield and Pavlich.

The resurgent Clayton Oliver earned seven votes for one of his strongest performances of the season, laying 12 tackles and collecting 31 disposals in a trademark midfield performance.

Christian Salem continued his strong year, given six votes for his 31 touches, 20 kicks and 11 marks.

The veteran defender sits third in the competition for marks, behind just Nick Haynes of Carlton and St Kilda's Calum Wilkie.

Christian Petracca was given four votes in his milestone match, while Max Gawn and Ed Langdon rounded out the Demon clean sweep with two and one votes respectively.
