MELBOURNE wingman Harry Sharp has secured his future at the Demons, signing a three-year contract extension that will see him remain in the red and blue until at least the end of 2030.

Already contracted until 2027, the 23-year-old joined Melbourne in 2025 and has quickly established himself as one of the club’s most reliable runners.

Melbourne List Manager Tim Lamb said the club was delighted to see Sharp commit his future to the Demons.

“Harry has developed into a pivotal member of our team, and we are pleased to see him remain with us until 2030,” Lamb said.

“His running capacity and willingness to play his role for our team make him a true asset.

“Harry has put a tremendous amount of work into his game, and his development over this season has been outstanding to watch.

“We look forward to seeing what Harry can continue to bring to our program in the years to come.”

The 23-year-old has cemented his place in Melbourne’s best 23, playing 18 games in his first season as a Demon before featuring in every senior game of the 2026 campaign.

The wingman has enjoyed a standout 2026 campaign, kicking 28 goals across the season and finding the scoreboard in 16 of his 21 matches.

He produced a career-best three-goal performance against premiership favourites Fremantle, including a memorable soccer kick in Melbourne’s Round 22 victory.

Sharp won Melbourne’s 2026 pre-season shuttle test, showcasing the endurance and aerobic capacity that have become key strengths of his game.

Originally selected with Pick No. 43 in the 2020 National Draft, Sharp spent four seasons with the Brisbane Lions, making 16 AFL appearances and kicking four goals before joining Melbourne.
