The Casey Demons are gearing up for an action-packed 2025 season, with the fixture now locked in and plenty of exciting matchups ahead. After a challenging 2024 campaign, the Demons will be looking to start strong, and the schedule provides a great opportunity to do just that.

A Strong Start at Home

The season kicks off with two home games at Casey Fields, giving the team a chance to build early momentum in front of their home supporters. In fact, four of the first five games will be played at Casey Fields due to the unavailability of the Swinburne Centre for the Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond.

Key Challenges Throughout the Season

The fixture presents its fair share of hurdles, with three interstate trips adding an extra layer of difficulty. A particularly testing stretch will see the Demons play three consecutive away games, including a crucial matchup against reigning premiers Gold Coast, who they will face twice this season.

Meanwhile, there will be fewer standalone contests, as the Demons won’t face the likes of Frankston, Port Melbourne, or Williamstown in such a format.

A Strong Finish

The back half of the season presents an opportunity to finish on a high. With four of their last six games being played at home—including three against teams that missed finals in 2024—Casey will be looking to capitalise and secure a strong ladder position heading into the finals.

VFLW Fixture Highlights

The Casey Demons VFLW team will also face a tough schedule, taking on 2024 finalists Box Hill and Essendon twice throughout the season. They will meet reigning premiers North Melbourne once in round 13. A challenging start sees them play three of their first four games on the road, with the opening-round double-header against Collingwood being the first home game, paired with the VFL’s clash against GWS on April 19.

Double Header Action

There will be plenty of double-header action this year, with five occasions where both the VFL and VFLW teams will play at the same venue. Three of these will be at home, giving fans the chance to enjoy back-to-back Demons footy at Casey Fields (April 19: VFL R4 v GWS / VFLW R1 v Collingwood, May 17: VFL R8 v Southport / VFLW R5 v Essendon, Jun 14: VFL R12 v Essendon / VFLW R8 v Williamstown), while two double headers will take place away from home.

With plenty of thrilling matchups on the horizon, Casey Demons fans have plenty to look forward to in 2025. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to support the red and blue!
