INS – A.Mackin, Campbell, Gay, Paxman
OUTS – Sherriff (inj.), Watt (concussion), West, Gall (omitted)

MELBOURNE has made four changes to its starting side as it prepares to face North Melbourne in a Qualifying Final clash.

Paxy Paxman, Aimee Mackin, Maddi Gay and Georgia Campbell will all line-up against the Roos on Sunday in the team’s first final for 2023.

After a late withdrawal from Round 10, Paxman has overcome hamstring tightness to be selected for the clash, the veteran Demon set to inject fresh energy and expert skills into the midfield.

Mackin comes back into team after three weeks sidelined with an ankle injury, proving her fitness in time for the all-important match. The Irish Demon will bring another level of speed and agility along the wing and inside 50.

Gay also re-joins the side after two weeks sidelined with a minor hamstring strain. The experienced Demon will add further depth to Melbourne’s defence as they prepare to take on North’s ominous forward line.

Campbell enters the team after strong consistency on the training track, the young ruck having shown this year that she can compete at the top level, impressing most recently in Round 7.
