THE MELBOURNE Football Club extends its deepest sympathies to the family of former City of Casey Councillor and Mayor Amanda Stapledon following her tragic passing.
A significant supporter of the club and its community and diversity programs in the Casey region, Stapledon was a Councillor from November 2008 to February 2020, where she represented the Mayfield Ward.
CEO Gary Pert passed on his sympathies to the Stapledon family, former colleagues and the wider Casey community.
“On behalf of the Melbourne Football Club, I would like to express my deepest condolences to Amanda’s family at this tragic time,” he said.
“Our thoughts are with those closest to Amanda, including the extended City of Casey family.”
