Season Overview:
After a 2020 season that saw him unable to break into the senior side, Chandler headed into 2021 with his strongest pre-season under his belt, in the hopes to see more senior football throughout the year.

While he only briefly got an opportunity to display his talent in the AFL side, the Casey Demons received the added benefit of Chandler, with the small forward featuring in the VFL side six times throughout the year. The 21-year-old's impressive speed and danger around goals make him a strength both through the midfield and up forward. Averaging 15.2 disposals and kicking six goals, Chandler was such a positive contributor at VFL level that he continued to be on the verge of AFL selection on numerous occasions. His best game of the year came in Casey's Round 1 game against Box Hill where dominated the ground, registering 25 disposals, three tackles and a goal.

Chandler, who was named on the emergency list for the Grand Final team this year, finished his 2021 season with a contract extension, that will see him remain a Demon for a further two years.
