Matt Brewer - AFLW Assistant Coach (Defenders) & VFLW Senior Coach

Brewer has a strong affiliation with the development pathways through the club, having joined the Casey Demons VFLW coaching team in 2022. 

Earlier this year, he was announced as the VFLW Senior Coach, taking the team from bottom of the ladder in 2023 to eighth position in 2024. 

Leading the AFLW midfield group through season seven and 2023, he has now transitioned to an extended role juggling VFLW Senior Coach and AFLW Backline Coach. 

His ability to build relationships and connect closely with staff and players has made him a valuable asset to the coaching line-up.
