Jake Lever has had a frustrating start to his career in the red and blue.
After being recruited at the end of the 2017 season, the former Crow went down with an ACL injury in his 11th match for Melbourne.
Lever underwent a 12-month recovery to get his knee back to full strength, returning to the side in Round 12, 2019.
But the defender’s misfortune continued as he suffered bone bruising in his knee.
Lever was able to play out the last seven games of the season where he showed glimpses of his best footy, but will be desperate to link up with teammate Steven May in 2020.
