Tom Sparrow was Melbourne’s highest draft selection in 2018, and wasted no time in getting started with his AFL career.
The young midfielder debuted in Round 1 last year and slotted a goal in the opening quarter against Port Adelaide on the MCG.
After a promising start, Sparrow managed just the two senior games in 2019 after going down with a season-ending knee injury in the VFL mid-year.
While it was frustrating for the South Australian to be stuck in rehab, he had the opportunity to work closely with the likes of Neville Jetta, helping him learn how to conduct himself as a professional athlete.
Sparrow has also spent time training one-on-one with Jack Viney and is in good shape heading into 2020.
