IN: Jackson

OUT: Chandler (omitted), Brown (omitted)

LUKE Jackson and Jake Melksham will run out for the Demons on Saturday afternoon, with the duo regaining their spots in the team to face Adelaide.

Both players missed playing in last weekend’s win over Carlton – Jackson was ruled out with a broken finger while Melksham was the unused medical sub – but will feature in Melbourne’s starting 22 for Round 10 at Adelaide Oval.

Jackson returns after just the one week on the sidelines, a result of the fracture to his finger he sustained in Round 8. Having required minor surgery, the 19-year-old trained with the group fully this week and ticked all the necessary boxes to be deemed fit to play.

For Melksham, it will be a chance to make an impact from the first bounce, having not been activated in his role as the sub last weekend.

Making way for the pair is Ben Brown and Kade Chandler, who both struggled to find the footy against the Blues and have been omitted.

Brown and Chandler will make up part of the emergency list, alongside Tom Sparrow and Neville Jetta, with one of the four to be named as the medical sub prior to the match.
