THE MELBOURNE Football Club and the South East Juniors (SEJ) are proud to renew their major partnership of eleven years and announce some exciting player ambassadors for 2021.

This year, the Demons’ AFL vice-captain, Jack Viney, and AFLW ruck and key forward, Eden Zanker, will take on the role as SEJ ambassadors, supporting the development of juniors within the south-east region.

Born in 2010, the partnership between the Dees and SEJ has continued to grow year on year, as has the league itself.

SEJ now comprises 180 boys’ teams and 40 girls’ teams, with 25 clubs across the league, and is one of the largest junior football leagues in the Demons’ engagement area. The age of the participants ranges from under 8s to under 17s.

To celebrate Round 1 of the 2021 season, SEJ recently hosted their annual event, Little Demons Day, where teams came together for one big football festival at Casey Fields.

Over 800 youngsters participated in the event and 4,000 people attended the festivities, including players, family, and friends.

The Melbourne Football Club and Casey Demons thanks AFL South East for its continued support and leadership in helping to grow junior football across the region, and wishes all junior footballers the very best for the remainder of the 2021 season.
