AS CONFIRMED on Monday afternoon, Adam Tomlinson will miss the remainder of the 2021 season after rupturing his ACL against North Melbourne.

The key defender suffered the blow on Sunday afternoon and has already gone in for surgery to begin his recovery process.

The news isn’t as severe for vice-captain Jack Viney, who was a late withdrawal from the Round 7 clash.

Viney is expected to miss two weeks after discovering a hot spot on his toe, but fortunately this incident isn’t related to his previous foot injuries.

The only other concern out of the weekend’s game was Ben Brown, who left the field with the blood rule after a heavy collision late in the match.

While it was a nasty knock, Brown was cleared of any concussion symptoms and will be available for his second game with the club on Saturday night.
