ON SUNDAY 22 April, the Melbourne Football Club and The Reach Foundation will together celebrate Jim’s life at the MCG, prior to the Demons’ Round 4 clash against the Western Bulldogs.
The Jim Stynes Tribute Hour will be a chance for all Victorians to gather in celebration of his contributions to football, the Reach Foundation and the greater community.
The event will celebrate everything that made Jim Stynes such a special part of our lives. There will be music, entertainment and the opportunity for everyone to pay tribute to the impact he had on so many of us.
In consultation with the Stynes family, round four was selected as it gives time for Jim’s family and friends to grieve. It also gives everyone the opportunity to plan for the best possible celebration of Jim’s life.
