FRESH off a win over the Suns, Melbourne may look to limit the changes to its side for Round 7.

But with Tom McDonald a potential exclusion due to his eye injury, and a number of boys performing in an 11 v 11 session with the Swans on the weekend, Simon Goodwin has some options at his disposal.

Take a look at four potential inclusions for the clash with Hawthorn at GIANTS Stadium.

Luke Jackson and Mitch Brown

If McDonald doesn’t come up, Luke Jackson and Mitch Brown will be battling it out for his spot as the second key forward, after both starring on Saturday morning.

The pair are at opposite ends of their careers and offer something different at the selection table.

Jackson, at 18 years of age, has just one-game under his belt, but is an exciting talent who provides versatility in his role.

The No.3 draft pick will be able to give his skipper a chop out in the ruck and he’s clean at ground level.

But if the Dees are looking for a senior head to accompany Sam Weideman inside 50, Brown would be the best fit.

He’s played 71 AFL games across three clubs, he’s reliable in front of goal and he’ll be hungry for a second chance in the red and blue guernsey.

Nathan Jones

Nathan Jones was one of the standouts in the match-simulation on Saturday morning, with his experience shining through against young opposition.

The former skipper hasn’t played a senior game since Round 2 and will be ready to perform when a position opens up in the side.

Adam Tomlinson

Adam Tomlinson’s omission last week came as a surprise to some, with the new-recruit just four games into his time at Melbourne.

As the match-day emergency, Tomlinson didn’t get the opportunity to find some form last weekend, but he’s more than capable at the level if called upon against the Hawks.
