FOOTY will take a trip down memory lane this weekend as the AFL launches the first match in the Toyota Fixture Throwbacks series.

In the absence of live action, the league will air classic matches from years gone by, featuring the teams that were initially set to do battle in round two.

Via AFL.tv and the AFL Live Official App, the historic encounters will begin on Thursday night when we replay a famous match between arch-rivals Collingwood and Richmond.

No screen size restrictions will apply to these matches, so you can watch full screen on your TV via the website and App.
