IN A UNIQUE occurrence, Melbourne will be in action three times across two days this Friday and Saturday.
It all starts on Friday afternoon at Casey Fields, with a youthful Melbourne team set to host the Bombers at 2.00pm.
Melbourne's team will consist of players not selected for Saturday's Marsh Community Series game, while Casey Demons VFL players will fill the remaining spots.
VFL senior coach and Melbourne development coach Sam Radford will take charge of the side for the day.
Entry to the practice match is free.
A few hours later, Melbourne's undefeated AFLW side will take to the field to play newcomers St Kilda at RSEA Park, Moorabbin.
It will be the first time since July 1991 that a Melbourne side has played for Premiership points at Moorabbin. That 1991 match saw Melbourne prevail by a point, while Jim Stynes collected a career-high 35 disposals en route to that year's Brownlow Medal.
Entry is free, with a wide range of family activities planned at RSEA Park.
In the third game of the weekend, the Marsh Community Series returns to Casey Fields with Melbourne hosting the Crows in a Saturday twilight fixture.
Alongside the on-field action which starts at 4.40pm, there will be giveaways, roaming mascots plus a curtain-raiser involving the Melbourne Academy Under 15s side which will be on as gates open.
Gates open at 3.00pm, with tickets available via Ticketmaster.
Melbourne will cap off the weekend with the club's annual Family Day on Sunday, 23 February.
Being held in Yarra Park, the red + blue’s biggest outdoor event will kick off at 12pm, with all AFL + AFLW players set to attend.
There will be plenty of family fun activities to enjoy, as well as the presentation of both teams on stage at the conclusion of the day.
