JESSE Hogan and Steven May will face off for the first time at the MCG on Saturday since finding new AFL homes in last year's NAB AFL Trade Period.

The No.6 draft pick was pivotal to their swap, with Hogan departing the Demons for Fremantle and May leaving Gold Coast for Melbourne.

The Demons and Dockers enter their round 14 clash as selected.

Fremantle, which will attempt to entrench itself in the top eight with a second win this year from as many trips to the MCG, opted for an unchanged line-up.

Jay Lockhart, Tim Smith – a late withdrawal a fortnight ago with a bout of the flu – Harry Petty and Alex Neal-Bullen return for Melbourne.

However, the Dees lost Jake Lever (knee bone bruising), Michael Hibberd (collarbone) and Jeff Garlett (dislocated shoulder) and dropped Charlie Spargo.
