MELBOURNE defender Sinead Goldrick is progressing well and will be tested for the Round 10 clash with Richmond.
AFLW High-Performance Manager Josh Keily spoke with Melbourne Media about the club’s latest injury news.
Sinead Goldrick
“Goldie’s tracking well. She’s begun integrating into training, and we’ll look to have her fully train this week. She’ll be a test for Richmond.”
Amelia Dethridge
“Amelia has been running. She’s also beginning to slowly integrate into training and is smashing her strength markers in the gym.”
Saraid Taylor
“Saraid has returned to running and is looking to build back her loads. We expect her to be two to three weeks away.
Lauren Clifton
“Lauren is now off the scooter, and it’s great to see her moving around the club again, albeit in a moon boot. She is expected to be five to six weeks away.”
Mia Austin
“Mia had successful surgery on a fracture in her throat. She’s in good spirits and healing well, and hopefully we’ll see her back at the club towards the end of this week.”
Chloe Baker-West
“Chloe is smashing her AlterG running. We’ll look to reintroduce her to running on-field this week, which is awesome to see. She’s ticking along nicely.”
