TYLA Hanks continues to add her name into the ongoing debate of best midfielder in the competition.

Hanks produced a clear standout performance in Round 8, inspiring Melbourne to its 21-point win over Collingwood. 

The 26-year-old received the perfect 10 coaches votes for the match where she collected 24 disposals, 12 tackles, 619 metres gained and a goal. 

Olivia Purcell, who received eight coaches votes, led the disposals for the game with 32, while Mia Austin kicked three goals earning her two coaches votes.  

Purcell now sits fifth on the overall leaderboard with 47 votes, with Hanks sitting below on 45 votes.
