MELBOURNE'S scheduled Captain's Run in Tasmania has been cancelled due to ongoing wet weather conditions and at the request of UTAS.

Persistent rain throughout the week has significantly impacted the playing surface, with the club only permitted limited access to the ground.

As a result, the decision has been made to cancel the open session.

The Demons appreciate the understanding of members and supporters who were planning to attend and apologise for any inconvenience.
