It was his fourth 10-vote game of the season, the livewire Demon starring with 32 disposals, 10 score involvements and three goals.
Skipper Max Gawn was almost important for Melbourne, the 34-year-old showing that age is just a number, the ruck dominating on the day with 24 disposals, two goals and 10 clearances.
Pickett and Gawn now sit within the top nine on the overall leaderboard.
Ed Langdon (six), Koltyn Tholstrup (two), Jake Bowey (two) and Jack Steele (one) were the remaining Demons to receive recognition from the coaches.
