MELBOURNE’S 2026 AFLW home-and-away fixture has been locked in with a jam-packed schedule set to excite Dees’ members and supporters.

Fans can now mark their calendars, with the details confirmed for the12 matches of the season.

As announced earlier this morning, the Dees will open their 2026 campaign with a battle against 2025 top four side Hawthorn on Thursday 13 August from 7:15pm at IKON Park.

The Dees will then return to their south-east fortress of Casey Fields for the first home game of the fixture, hosting the Giants on Sunday 23 August at 2:35pm.

Melbourne will host six games across the season, four at Casey Fields and two at its inner-city home of IKON Park, creating opportunities for fans from all over Melbourne to enjoy Dees footy.

A blockbuster match to mark in your calendars is the 2025 preliminary final rematch against back-to-back reigning premiers North Melbourne. The IKON Park game will see the Dees host the Roos on the eve of the AFL Grand Final, in what is set to be a exciting weekend of footy in Melbourne.

The interstate itinerary includes three trips across the season, heading to Mineral Resources Park (WA), the Great Barrier Reef Arena (QLD) and Thomas Farms Oval (SA) facing the Eagles, the Suns and the Crows, respectively.

Indigenous Round will run over a two-week period across Round 3 and 4, where the club will once again take on the name Narrm, the traditional Wurundjeri Woiwurrung word for Melbourne and its surrounds.

The league will then celebrate Pride Round in the back half of the season across Round 9 and 10, the Dees hosting a Pride Party at IKON Park on Friday 16 October.
