AS a new era dawns, the Demons are breaking with tradition and paving a highway to hell at the ‘G in 2026.
With fiery visuals, player goal songs and a demonic ‘Acca-dacca’ inspired soundtrack featuring in the pre-match festivities, fans are in for a hell of a time when they attend a Melbourne home game this year.
What’s new?
Player goal songs: From Jimmy Barnes to Kylie Minogue, Kenny Loggins to Olivia Dean; the players have each selected the anthem that will play after they kick a goal in home games this season, and the list has something for everyone. Warm up the vocal cords and get ready to sing along.
First goal fan vote: This one we’re leaving up to you! While players will pick the soundtrack for every other Demon goal, the first goal is up to the fans. Vote now for the song that will get you up and about.
New run out location: The MCG is our home, so the Demons will be returning to the home race for their run out this year. With the MCC stands by our side, flame towers bringing the heat and the soundtrack of a hell-themed rock classic (you know the one!) to announce the Demons’ arrival, Max Gawn leading his team onto the hallowed turf will be the stuff of Demon dreams.
Partner activations: From the LEGO® Kid's Zone at select home games (including Round 1), to Zurich mini golf and partner giveaways, Melbourne Football Club partners will be elevating the family experience and keeping the kids entertained.
Face painting at every home game: This will excite the little ones! You can find face painting at every MCG home game this year outside Gate 3.
