MELBOURNE has added to its AFLW depth, signing Jordyn Allen and Chloe Baker-West via the 2025 AFLW National Draft.

The Dees’ AFLW List Manager Cody Baker said the club was thrilled to select a duo of talented players to bolster their list.

“We wanted the best footballers, we were really keen to add to our depth, and we think we've done that with two really high-class footballers,” Baker said.

Pick No.16 | Jordyn Allen

“Jordy’s a really good character and high-class footballer as well,” Baker said.

“She has a high IQ and is a really solid ball user, who loves breaking the lines and taking the game on.

“We think she can really add to our game with the way she takes the game on. If you saw our finals campaign, I think it's something that could really help us in big games like that.

“She’s just a really solid kid who can play multiple positions and we're really excited about what she can bring.”

Pick No.22 | Chloe Baker-West

“First off, Chloe’s a massive ball winner, so she can find the footy a lot. We see her as a utility, she can sort of play everywhere,” Baker said.

"She's been handy forward at times, has played behind the ball and is really strong in the air. Then around the footy, she knows how to find the football and is really quick with her hand-to-foot.

“We’re really excited about what she can bring and although, initially, I couldn't tell you what position she'll play early, we know she'll play a lot of roles.

“I'm also really excited about her as a person to get through the Melbourne doors."
