MELBOURNE has selected Chloe Baker-West with pick No.22 at the 2025 National Draft.

Baker-West is a ball-winning midfielder who can take on multiple positions, with a high footy IQ that allows her to read the play and create high defensive pressure.

Playing for the Calder Cannons in the Coates Talent League, she averaged 33 disposals, seven clearances and five tackles, earning herself a spot in the Team of the Year.

While she unfortunately missed this year’s National Championships after sustaining a concussion, she has shown earlier in her career that she can perform at the national level, winning Vic Metro’s MVP award and All Australian honours at the U16 National Championships in 2023.
