The thirty-year-old was honoured for her fantastic 2025 campaign, topping the count with 117 votes at the event held on Sunday night.
The All-Australian narrowly beat her second-in-command, with Melbourne vice-captain Tyla Hanks coming in second place with 108 votes.

Hore’s 2025 was a career-best year, leading from the front both on and off the field. Averaging 21 disposals, six tackles, and four clearances in her fifteen games, she also kicked 24 goals across the season.
General Manager – AFLW, Clare Pettyfor, congratulated Kate on her fourth ‘Daisy’, praising the captain’s outstanding achievement.
“After an outstanding 2025 campaign, Kate is a very deserving winner of the Daisy Pearce Trophy,” Pettyfor said.
“We are incredibly lucky to have a front row seat to watch Kate play footy each week. She is one the premier players in the competition and to win a fourth consecutive Daisy Pearce Trophy is a remarkable achievement.
“She enriches our program with her passion for the club and the care she shows towards her teammates, staff, and members and fans.
“Kate’s impact, not only on our club but on the wider league, is profound and we are so proud to call her our captain.”
Hanks was equally influential in 2025, also achieving a career-best season. Playing in all fifteen games, the midfielder averaged 23 disposals, seven tackles and 3.5 clearances.
She led the club at the league’s Best and Fairest count in November and was rewarded for her efforts with a maiden All-Australian selection.
McNamara continued her fantastic run of form in 2025, averaging 22 disposals, four tackles and 341 metres gained across all fifteen games.
Megan Fitzsimon (87 votes) and Maeve Chaplin (84 votes) rounded out the top five respectively, in acknowledgement for the influential roles they played throughout the season.
