IN exciting news for Grace Beasley, the Demon is available for selection for the first time since rupturing her ACL more than 12 months ago.

Beasley was sidelined during September last year and has been rigorously completing her rehab to get back to full fitness.

The club’s AFLW High Performance Manager Josh Keily provided an update on Beasley on Tuesday morning.

“Grace has officially completed her ACL rehab,” Keily said.

“She’s in a great spot and has been training well with the main group. She’ll officially be available for selection this weekend.”

Gab Colvin, who was sidelined with a wrist injury, will also be available for selection ahead of the team’s first final this Sunday.

“Gab has been managing a wrist injury sustained during the match scrimmage two weeks ago,” Keily said.

“She’s pulled up well from training last week and will be available for selection on Sunday.”

Molly O’Hehir missed Saturday night’s game against Geelong with shin soreness and will need to pass a fitness test if she is to be available for Sunday’s final.

“Molly has been managing some shin soreness this past week,” Keily said.

“We’ll aim to get her involved in the main session on Wednesday with the hopes for her to be available if she successfully completes the week of training.”

Sinead Goldrick will miss this weekend’s final after seeking a specialist opinion on an eye injury sustained during Round 10.

“Sinead met with a specialist last week who recommended that she have another week of rest from games,” Keily said.

“We’ll aim to have her rejoin the group next week so that she can put her hand up for selection moving forward into finals.”

Olivia Purcell (ACL) and Jacinta Hose (back) continue to work through their long-term rehab schedules, with Hose hitting some exciting markers in her program.

“Jacinta has started building up her aerobic capacity with more conditioning,” Keily said.

“She’s also ticked off reactive change of direction, which is another positive sign for her rehab. We’ll now look to build up her football intensity in contested drills.”

Kate Hore underwent a Head Injury Assessment at the conclusion of Saturday night’s match against Geelong. She successfully passed the assessment and has continued to be symptom-free in the days following the match.
