MELBOURNE has made a further change to its 2026 AFL playing list, informing Taj Woewodin he will not be offered a contract for next season.
Woewodin was taken by the Demons as a father-son selection in the 2021 AFL Draft and tallied 21 senior games across four seasons, alongside 53 VFL appearances for Casey.
Melbourne AFL List Manager Tim Lamb thanked the 22-year-old for his contribution to the red and blue.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to thank Taj for his contribution and commitment to the football program over the past four seasons,” Lamb said.
“Taj gave his all in his time with us, and we wish him nothing but the best for the future.”
Woewodin, the son of former Demon Shane, was part of the Casey Demons’ premiership-winning side in 2022 and made his AFL debut in Round 17 the following year.
