DENBY Taylor will be available for selection this week after overcoming bone stress in her foot.

Taylor had been managing the stress reaction during the opening half of the season but has completed the final steps of her rehab schedule.

“It was really good to see Denby back playing footy on the weekend, she did really well during the match scrimmage [on Saturday],” said Josh Keily, the club’s AFLW High Performance Manager.

“That game was the final stage of her rehab, so she’ll be able to put her hand up for selection this week.”

After injuring her MCL during Round 2, Blaithin Mackin continues to make positive progress towards a return to play.

“Blaithin has ticked off some good running numbers and an intro into change of direction,” Keily said.

“We’ll keep progressing that and then transition her into football skills in the coming week.”

Sarah Lampard is back on track in her rehab from a calf injury sustained prior to Round 2.

“There was a little set-back with Sarah where she had symptoms while running, but she’s now successfully ticked off running,” Keily said.

“She has to build up tolerance now and has been tracking well with that.”

Grace Beasley continues to ramp up her training as she looks to return from an ACL injury sustained in 2024.

“We’re getting some more testing done with Grace this week,” Keily said.

“From there, we’ll be guided with how much football she can transition to.”

Georgia Campbell, who was ruled out of last week’s game due to a wrist concern, has recovered well and will be available for selection ahead of Round 7.

Olivia Purcell (ACL) and Jacinta Hose (back) are continuing to work through their long-term rehab programs.
