TYLA Hanks has soared to the top two on the overall AFLCA leaderboard, collecting her fourth set of votes from the coaches in as many weeks.

Hanks was among Melbourne's key contributors in a 37-point win over Richmond on Saturday, receiving eight votes for her performance. She hit a career high during the victory with an individual disposal record of 32, alongside six marks, five tackles and 437 metres gained.

However, the midfielder wasn't deemed the best performer on the day, with Dees' skipper Kate Hore topping the coaches votes with nine. Hore was both impressive offensively and defensively, kicking two goals and producing a whopping 13 tackles across the four quarters, a career-high for the Demon.

Defender Maeve Chaplin was also recognised with five votes, while Megan Fitzsimon and Saraid Taylor rounded out the Demon vote-getters with one apiece.

Hanks now sits equal second on the overall leaderboard behind North Melbourne's Ash Riddell, while Hore sits at equal sixth.
