Melbourne AFL Head of Development, Mark Williams, will depart the club at the end of the 2025 season.

Williams joined the Demons in 2020 and has had a significant impact during his time at the club, particularly through the role he has played in developing the club’s younger players.

Melbourne General Manager of AFL Football Performance, Alan Richardson, thanked Williams for his contribution to the club.

“Mark’s club-first approach and passion for helping our players develop both on and off the field has been first class,” Richardson said.

“He has been an important part of our program, bringing great passion and energy to everything he does.

“He played a key role in our 2021 premiership and his impact on the development of our younger players, in particular, has been significant.

“On behalf of everyone at the club, I want to thank Mark for his contribution and wish him and his family all the best for the future.”

Williams will continue in his role until the conclusion of the Casey Demons’ VFL Finals campaign.
