MELBOURNE's first match-play of the AFLW season is just days away, with an intraclub match slated for Wednesday, July 16 on Gosch's Paddock.

Demons fans will get their first look at the club's new recruits, with the third overall selection in the 2024 AFLW Draft Molly O'Hehir likely to pull on a guernsey.

Her fellow first-year Demons Maggie Mahony (selection No.21) , Amelia Dethridge (selection No.63) and Laela Ebert (injury replacement player) are the other new faces to watch out for on the track.

Coffee, retail and membership stations will be available for onlookers.

Melbourne will be looking to bounce back in 2025 after narrowly-missing a finals place in an injury-interrupted 2024 season.

Tayla Harris, Olivia Purcell and Paxy Paxman have all been training strongly after missing significant stretches last year.

Paxman was named to the club's six-person leadership group last week, alongside Kate Hore (captain), Tyla Hanks (vice-captain), Sarah Lampard, Eliza McNamara and Maeve Chaplin.
