Casey dominates at home in a commanding win over the Geelong Cats.

Standing tall on their home turf, the Casey Demons secured their second win of the VFLW season with a convincing 26-point victory over the Geelong Cats at Casey Fields.

The 8.7 (55) to 4.5 (29) victory highlighted Casey’s continued development, reflecting their rising confidence and form as they climb a spot up the ladder.

Despite a significant shake-up in the lineup, the Demons carried the momentum from last week’s win into this clash, backing it up with another four-quarter effort that delivered back-to-back victories for the first time this season.

Casey controlled the contest from the outset and never let up, outscoring the Cats in every term. Their ability to apply consistent scoreboard pressure proved crucial in building and maintaining their lead throughout the game.

With the midfield battle largely even, it was the Demons who made the most of their opportunities, converting a high percentage of their inside 50 entries into scores — a testament to their forward efficiency and decision-making under pressure.

Alice Robinson got the ball rolling early, kicking the first two goals of the match and setting the tone with her sharp goal sense and composure inside 50.

A positional change up forward paid off handsomely for Delany Madigan, who starred with four straight goals. Her last-quarter burst, where she slotted two goals in quick succession, put the game out of Geelong’s reach and underlined her impact.

Zoe Mitchell led the way with 17 disposals and seven inside 50s, driving Casey's attacking play and linking up well with teammates to launch several key scoring chains.

Another standout was Tylah Burn, whose physicality and contested work were on full display. She racked up 14 disposals and eight clearances, while her combination with Lauren Jatczak and Zahri Burn in the ruck proved too strong for the Cats to counter.

The win reflects a side building momentum and cohesion, with contributions across every line.

The Demons now shift their focus to a Round 12 clash against the Collingwood Magpies at Victoria Park on Saturday — a crucial test as they push for a strong finish to the season.
