MELBOURNE has launched a school holidays extravaganza as the Kids’ Game takes over the ‘G in Round 18, with a bumper lineup of Kids Zone activities, giveaways and free match access for all kids aged 14 and under.

UFO bumper cars, the Dee Train, facepainting, performers and Zurich Mini Golf will headline a stacked afternoon of activities on Sunday, July 13.

Professional family photos, in front of a footy-themed backdrop created by Poppies for Grace, will be available for both Dees and Roos fans.

An 11am Kids Zone opening means Demon families can get their fill of fun before a family-friendly 1:10pm bounce against North Melbourne.

Tom Sparrow, Harry Sharp and Xavier Lindsay helped launch the round at the MCG, climbing aboard on the Dee Train and jumping into some family portraits.

“Today’s all about putting a few smiles on kids’ faces and making them feel really happy to be Melbourne supporters,” Tom Sparrow said.

Demon mascots Daisy and Checker will be roaming the concourse between Gates 2 and 3 on game day, with poster handouts, LEGO® lucky dip and Christian Petracca Zurich Collector Cup giveaways, Hertz temporary tattoos, Grill’d giveaways and a DJ.

Haymes Paint will bring the kicking barrel, while Harvest Snaps will be on deck with cards fun and post-game sampling.

The fun won’t just be for kids, with Inglewood providing a cafe area for parents to grab a coffeee, take a break from the mayhem.

Any junior member that signs up before July 25 will go in the running to win one of 50 LEGO mega prize packs valued at $500.
