KING’s Birthday attendees will get the opportunity to join a heart-warming show of appreciation for the courage and devotion of Neale Daniher AO, with a special pre-match MCG moment.
In what promises to be an iconic ‘I was there’ celebration of Neale’s decade-long efforts in investing over $115 million for motor neurone disease research and projects supporting those living with MND, the MCG will roar into life to recognise Neale and the Daniher family.
Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 2:00pm on Monday afternoon, with the customary Big Freeze sliders to precede the magic moment of Neale appreciation.
Reserved ticket holders are encouraged to show up in force and leave no seat empty during a special moment for the Daniher family, as the Dees strive for a record-breaking Big Freeze crowd of 85,000.
The Zurich Walk to the ‘G begins at 10:00am at Federation Square, with Melbourne players, the Danihers and Brad Green addressing the crowd, before the sea of red and blue makes the trek to the ground.
Gates are open from 12:00pm for the Melbourne Cricket Club and 12:30pm for the general public.
Those wishing to donate to the cause can by grabbing a Digital Beanie at bigfreeze.com.au.
