MELBOURNE great Aaron Davey will take part in Big Freeze 11, as he joins a star-studded lineup set to slide for FightMND.
The fan-favourite Demon will plunge into icy waters at the MCG on June 9, as part of the King’s Birthday clash between Melbourne and Collingwood.
A cult hero of the Red and Blue and proud Indigenous figure, Davey said it was a special opportunity to be involved.
“I’ve been blessed and fortunate enough to be doing something really special this weekend,” he said.
“I’ll be sliding down in Big Freeze 11 — it’s a very privileged, very humbling experience.”
The 2025 event will once again support the work of Neale Daniher and the FightMND army in raising awareness and vital funds to combat motor neurone disease.
Now in its eleventh year, FightMND has invested more than $115.78 million into research and care initiatives in pursuit of a world free on MND.
