INS – Tholstrup (AFL debut)
OUTS – Pickett (susp.)

MELBOURNE will introduce its third AFL debutant of the year into its line-up this week, with Koltyn Tholstrup named for Round 5.

Tholstrup, who hails from Esperance in WA, first joined the club during last year’s National Draft, arriving via pick No.13.

Now, just five months on, the 18-year-old will step out on to the MCG tomorrow night to play his first AFL game.

Tholstrup boasts plenty of natural talent, with speed and strength at the forefront of his forward craft.

After a strong pre-season and start to the year via the VFL, the young Demon has shown he’s now ready for senior level footy.

Making way this week is Kysaiah Pickett, who will miss Thursday’s game as he serves his one-match suspension for Rough Conduct.

Bailey Laurie, Adam Tomlinson and Josh Schache have been named on Melbourne’s emergency list for Round 5.

The Dees are preparing to face the Lions tomorrow night, returning to the home of football after a successful two-game stint in Adelaide.

Tickets are still available for the clash, with fans able to access $5 junior tickets and $19 general admission tickets.

The first bounce will take place at the MCG from 7:30pm (AEST).
