AFTER five seasons, Melbourne Football Club and Jaguar Australia will call time on their partnership.

The two organisations first came together in 2019, with the automotive manufacturer signing on as Co-Principal Partner of the club.

Jaguar has since featured on the back of the AFL side’s guernsey and shared in many unforgettable moments for the men’s program.

Melbourne CEO Gary Pert reflected on the collaborative journey and expressed his gratitude.

“Our partnership with Jaguar Australia has been remarkable, and one both organisations are incredibly proud of,” he said.

“What we have achieved together over the past five years is testament to our aligned values, vision and commitment to high performance. We share rich histories, as well as a determination and drive to reach new heights.

“On behalf of the Melbourne Football Club, I thank the team at Jaguar for their partnership and support over the past five years. We part ways with the utmost respect and gratitude.”

Jaguar Land Rover Managing Director Penny Ferguson echoed the sentiment.

“Over the past five years, our collaboration has been extraordinary, blending the worlds of automotive excellence and sportsmanship,” Ferguson said.

“The journey with the Melbourne Football Club has been marked by shared values, a commitment to innovation, and a dedication to achieving greatness. This partnership allowed us to connect with fans on a deeper level, uniting our passions for performance, precision, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

“As we bid farewell, I must express my gratitude for the unforgettable moments and the invaluable connections we've forged alongside the Melbourne Football Club, including an AFL Premiership in 2021.

“This partnership will remain a great example of what can be accomplished when two entities with unwavering dedication come together to create something truly exceptional.”

Melbourne will make an exciting announcement regarding its new Co-Principal Partner for 2024 and beyond shortly.
