NARRM’S Lachie Hunter has been offered a one-match sanction for Forceful Front-On Contact in the Demons’ Round 10 match against Yartapuulti (Port Adelaide).
The incident, which involved Connor Rozee, occurred during the third quarter of Friday night’s game at Adelaide Oval. It was assessed by the Match Review Officer as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact.
If accepted, the sanction will see Hunter miss Narrm’s Round 11 clash with Walyalup (Fremantle).
Co-captain Jack Viney (Rough Conduct against Daniel Houston) and defender Christian Salem (Tripping against Jason Horne-Francis) were also charged, each offered $3,000 sanctions.
For the duration of Sir Doug Nicholls Round, the Melbourne Football Club will be rebranded and referred to as the Narrm Football Club.
