ELIZA West was deemed best afield in Round 7, as seven Demons featured in the AFLCA votes at Casey Fields on Sunday.

Melbourne’s No.11 polled eight votes for her 24-disposal outing, taking her to a team-high total of 31 votes for the season – the 12th best tally in the league.

Kate Hore was also recognised by both coaches with six votes after having 16 touches and a goal in her 50th game.

A game-high 25 disposals and nine tackles saw Olivia Purcell receive five votes, while Tayla Harris was the next best (four votes) after booting two goals in a game where she played predominantly in the ruck after half-time.

Rounding out the votes in Melbourne’s 64-point win were Tyla Hanks (three votes), Sarah Lampard (two votes) and Alyssa Bannan (one vote), while Dogs’ skipper Ellie Blackburn also claimed one vote.
